Our Partnerships

Our goal is to work for and with the LGBTQ+ community. To make that happen, we do our best to collaborate with other queer-owned businesses and groups from around the country as well as in our own backyard here in New York City. From manufacturing and catering to venues and like-minded organizations, we include as much representation as we can along the way.

Meet the Founder

Lia Athena

Lia Athena is a self-published writer and background actor based in New York City. After releasing Rainbow Plague to the public, she began hosting house parties and picnics to bring together members of the queer community.

What started as small gatherings has since blossomed into Queer Athena—a vibrant and growing organization that connects unique and talented individuals, each with a story Lia has loved discovering. Her passion for fostering inclusivity and meaningful connections is the driving force behind Queer Athena’s mission to uplift and empower the LGBTQ+ community in NYC.
